About Shawn
For the last 20 years, Shawn K. Clement has been a multi-faceted composer in a variety of genres and styles. As a songwriter, producer, performer and engineer, has written over 25,000 pieces of music, which have been heard on more than 200 projects. Clement created the beginning musical foundation for reality TV and in recognition of his accomplishments, ASCAP presented Clement with the Award for Most Performed Underscore. Clement’s work for QUANTUM QUEST (performed by the San Francisco Philharmonic and recorded at Skywalker Ranch) was nominated for Hollywood Music in Media Awards’ Best Score, and won a Global Music Award. In 2010, Clement opened offices at the Paramount Lot and co-founded the production company, Collective Entertainment. His documentary series, MASTERS OF SOUND, is garnering extensive recognition, as an executive producer, Clement is scoring the series. In 2011, Clement was commissioned to write the orchestral, The Warrior’s Hymn for The Tribute for Wounded Warriors. It premiered at the Kennedy Center by a 106 member orchestra, 247 member choir, and was sung by YES’, Jon Anderson. Clement is composing the score for, the upcoming and documentary entitled LIVE FOREVER: A RAY BRADBURY ODYSSEY, which Clement was personally requested by Ray Bradbury.
